We have tried to cover most of the scopes. However, since the job volume is vast and hence some jobs could possibly be missed out <(>&<)> will have to be executed by contractor as <(>&<)> when required as directed by area in-charge. Submission of quote would automatically mean that above terms is accepted to the contractor. The Manpower required are for specialized jobs. They are to be skilled to perform the below mentioned job. The scope generally shall be as under: Detailed Scope of Work Debagging of Ferro alloys <(>&<)> feeding to EAF/LF/RH through conveyors. Loading of Ferro alloys for shifting to other plant and unloading of Ferro alloys coming from other plant. Bagging and shifting of micro alloys, Flux and Carburizer, etc. (if need be). Shifting of all production consumables like graphite electrodes, temperature probes, lancing pipes, slag conditioners, EBT filling mass <(>&<)> etc. Monitoring of feeding of flux, carburizers etc. on belt to segregate bigger / foreign material. Evacuated materials returned from shops and any other consumable material as suggested by FAS Engineer to be refilled in jumbo bags. Housekeeping of shed, conveyors, All Feeding hoppers platforms <(>&<)> nearby areas. All tools <(>&<)> tackles required for housekeeping (like brush, shovel, trolley, etc.) to be provided by contractor. Supervision of all activities to be carried out in area by contract men. AMNS has its own Secures Access system called SCRUM at Hazira Site which is use for processing the Gate Pass. Safety 1. Competency Needs: a. An associates shall have at least 3 yrs. of hands-on working experience in addition to that he/she shall have at least 10th class of education. b. All workers shall have min. understanding of local or national language. 2. Worker Safety Training: a. Safety induction is mandatory for all the associates before deploying them for the job. b. Workers must undergo 16 days of associates training program organized by respective plant as a part of induction followed by assessment. c. Workers must undergo a competency assessment by AM/NS India before being authorized to participate in rigging/ ladle handling operations. All rigger/ladle handler shall have trained on rigging and ladle handling operation with and training assessment. e. They all must have a signaling skill. f. Risk Assessment and Hazard Identification: a. A comprehensive risk assessment study must be conducted quarterly, focusing on the hazards associated with ladle handling. b. Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment (HIRA) reports should be updated regularly and submitted to AM/NS India for review. c. Develop a job method statement for key sub processes of ladle handling. 4. Supervision: a. Assign Job supervisor to manage overall operation, administration and emergency for the job and workers. b. Deploy safety supervisor: 1 for 30+ workers and 1 more for every 50 workers. 5. Emergency Response Plan: a. Develop and implement a detailed Emergency Response Plan (ERP) that includes procedures for handling accidents, fires, and exposure to hazardous materials during the work. b. Emergency drills should be conducted every quarter to ensure preparedness the probable emergency in ladle handling. 6. Machines and Tools: a. All electrically operated machines shall be inspected and certified by AMNSI electrical engineer. b. All hand tools shall be inspected and certified as needed. c. All lifting tools and tackles shall be inspected at define frequency and certified by third party competent person and keep record in form-10. 7. Incident Reporting: a. Immediate incident reporting within 30 minutes of occurrence is mandatory. b. A Root Cause Analysis (RCA) must be completed within 48 hours of any incident, with findings and corrective actions reported to AM/NS India. 8. Mandatory Safety Audits: a. Conduct quarterly safety audits to ensure compliance with safety requirements, focusing on the proper implementation of job method statement requirements. b. Audit reports should be submitted to AM/NS India, with corrective actions implemented promptly. 9. PPE Requirements: a. All personnel involved in tarpaulin covering must wear; a. FRP Safety Helmet: (as per AM/NS India guidelines) b. Nitrile shole Safety shoes c. Hand gloves d. Safety jacket (As per AMNS India standards) e. Dust mask f. Safety goggles g. Hand gloves. h. While normal duty hours are 12 per day, more than 16 hours continuous duty is not allowed on any day. Contractor shall be penalized by an amount of Rs. 5000/- per such cases <(>&<)> any such repetition of more than 3 cases in total will make contractor eligible for termination of contract. Manpower is allocated basis 12 hours duty. Hence, contractor must ensure that shift schedule is maintained as per 12 hours shift. Only in extreme crisis condition, contractor shall be allowed for 7 consecutive days of 16 hours duty. After 7 days, penalty of Rs. 1000/- per day shall be levied if 16 hours duty continues. Penalty for Late coming: Associates MUST relieve on workplace in individual control rooms. No workmen should leave workplace without reliever being available at workplace. Contractor to ensure availability of his own supervisor during each shift relieving to ensure smooth transition of shifts.
